8th Grade IGP Information

In order to prepare for high school all 8th grade students participate in an Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) conference during the 2nd semester of the school year. During this conference, one of our school counselors will meet with your child to select their 9th grade courses, talk about a plan for high school, and discuss future career plans. Due to the importance of this process we encourage parents/guardians to also attend these meetings with your child. If you are unable to participate, one of our school counselors will still conduct a conference with your child.
Before your child's IGP conference they will need to decide which elective course offerings they would like to take. Please use the link below to review the district's elective course offerings. Students will need to choose FOUR elective courses, and have TWO alternate selections, before their conference.
